The Best Birthday Ever

Once upon a time there lived a girl called Samantha. She had a dog called Dash, one annoying brother Tom, a Mum and a Dad. Samantha's birthday was today and she thought her family had forgotten all about it. They lived right next to the forest. One day Samantha was going on her daily evening walk with her dog Dash. Suddenly Dash ran off into the forest and Samantha followed after her. She didn't know something exciting was awaiting her. Dash ran and ran until he stopped in front of a tree which had an unusual circle kind of door. There was a key hole on the door and a lot of noise was going on inside the door. Samantha wanted to find out what was inside so she stared to look around for the key.

Behind the tree there was a note which said, " In the farm there are sheep and behind the sheep there are cows." She immediately thought that the key might be in a farm, but what farm. Then she remembered there was a farm just down the street of her house. Dash and her quickly ran in to the farm and started looking for the sheep. They found the sheep but She could not see any cows behind them. Dash was looking for the cows too when he saw a toy cow just sitting there behind the sheep and started chewing it.

Underneath Samantha saw a piece of paper and she read it, " There is a tree by the river which has exactly 24 branches on it, find it and you will see a window, that window will give you something. First Samantha wondered what river it could be, there was not any river by her house. Then she thought about her toy play set, it had a river in it, it was a crazy idea but it would might actually work. She found her play set and there was the toy river, right next to it there was a tall tree (but it was the size of a toy one.) It also had exactly 24 branches just as it had mentioned on the piece of paper. In the window she saw a key. It was the key that would open the door of the tree. Samantha ran and opened the door.

There in side was her Mum, Dad and her brother Tom. They were in a different world. There was everything they wanted in there and the told her that they were going to tell her very soon but it had been her birthday present. They also didn't want her to find all those clues. Samantha hugged her family and they all smiled. This was the best birthday ever.
